In Their Skin (a.k.a. Replicas)


Justin Tyler Close started his career as a professional photographer, shooting mostly portraiture photography of musicians and actors for various publications around the world such as ELLE, American Way and ION Magazine. Through photography, he naturally gravitated towards the film industry, writing and directing his first short film called Lost Until You're Found that premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.

Justin is now the co-founder and executive producer of The Lab Films, a full service film and television production house with bases in Vancouver, Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. Other then working in the film industry, Justin is the Editor in Chief/Creative Director of The Lab Magazine, which is an art, fashion, film and music publication sold in over twenty countries. The Lab Magazine has featured some of the most influential entertainers in our generation, such as Stellan Skarsgard, David Fincher, Lykke Li, The Flaming Lips, Sam Rockwell, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Vincent Cassel, Michel Gondry, Florence and the Machine, Michael Shannon, Rashida Jones, Malin Akerman and Jack Black.

Justin recently co-created and produced a thriller feature film called REPLICAS, with co-editor of The Lab Magazine, Jeremy Power Regimbal (Director) and his brother Josh Close (Writer). The film starred Selma Blair (Hellboy, Cruel Intentions), James D'Arcy (W.E, Master and Commender), Rachel Miner (Bully, Californiacation) and Josh Close (Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Pacific). Currently, Justin is working on his next feature film project called Kiss Me Goodnight, where he will be making his directorial debut. This is set to go into production November 2011 in New York City.
